Miami Hurricanes soar to the top of the AP poll for the first time in 24 years, but Coach Mario Cristobal refuses to let his squad celebrate early. After a double-overtime thriller against Florida State, with Bryce Fitzgerald sealing the win with a crucial interception and Mark Fletcher battling through injury, the Hurricanes remain unbeaten at 6-0 and hungry for more.
With Notre Dame and Georgia suffering upset losses, Miami now holds the number one spot and surges in national title odds. Yet, Cristobal’s focus is relentless—he dismisses midseason rankings and insists the Hurricanes embrace the “hunter” mentality. Can Miami sustain its dominance, or will the demands of legacy games and relentless competition put their top billing to the test?
