Miami Hurricanes gear up for a high-stakes clash against Florida State as both coordinators break down the challenges ahead.
Miami Hurricanes gear up for a high-stakes clash against Florida State as both coordinators break down the challenges ahead. Defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman spotlights Ousmane Kromah's elusive rushing attack, noting Miami’s missed tackles against Clemson and emphasizing the need to sharpen up or risk being exploited on the ground. With Miami’s top-ranked rushing and scoring defense facing one of their toughest tests, the battle in the trenches will be key.
On offense, Shannon Dawson sees opportunity but caution, questioning how Florida State’s dynamic scheme led by Tony White will counter Miami’s threats like Malachi Tony’s downfield playmaking and the ground game of Mark Fletcher and Javian Mallory. Can Darian Mensah stay protected behind an adjusted offensive line missing Max Buchanan? With Miami favored by more than 21 points, the intensity of rivalry week means no win is guaranteed—will the Hurricanes rise to the occasion or suffer an upset?
