Damon Wilson exploded with 2.5 sacks and relentless pressure as the Miami Hurricanes routed Clemson 41-13 on the road, putting the ACC on notice. Mark Fletcher Jr. powered through with two massive second-half touchdowns and a bruising ground attack, while true freshman JJ Dunnigan iced the game with a late pick-six. Can Miami’s surging physicality and defensive dominance continue as injuries mount before the vital Florida State rivalry game?
The Hurricanes allowed just 55 yards rushing—much of it in garbage time—proving the defense could neutralize Clemson’s offense and tilt the momentum. Key contributions from Cooper Barkate, who sparked the offense with a 61-yard touchdown, and Darrian Mensah, who showcased resilience despite a tough outing, signal Miami’s growing depth and adaptability. With the bye week ahead, the question remains: can Miami stay healthy enough to maintain their undefeated ACC record on the road to the conference title?
